so i got this mac mini g4 from an ad agency for cheap. it is one of the latest rev from the "silent upgrade" era. since it came from a smokers environment its state was stinky disgusting, and when i opened up the case, it was filled up with dust bunnies with a smell of thousand fags. it came with a white extended usb keyboard and a mighty mouse also in a dubious shape at least from a hygienic point of view.
to make long story short...i took the whole punch straight into the dishwasher (incl. harddisk, superdrive...*gg*) and it came out like new. i did not expect much of it...but see attached shoots.

tried some standard m3 x 8 torx screws and guess what they fit. did'nt expect that. while searching the web for the apple oem screws i found a seller on amazon who wants $20.- per PIECE...ridicolous

the PC164LX has SRM and Alphabios AFAIK, you can switch between the two flavours with CTRL+C...so an old S3 video card, a QLA-1400 and a supported nic is enough to make vms happy.

Some Guy offered me an Apple Workgroup Server for 20 bucks but he has no original Software for it. I have a few MacOS Classic (8.5, 9.1) Cd's but i dont think they have Server Stuff included. He mentioned that there is a "CAD" Graphics Card built in *gg*, so a server with a CAD Card? Years back i owned an 9600 which looked very similar to this.
Should i take it, i'm not sure. Any thoughts in this?
