How do you actually obtain the data, sounds VERY interesting.

Hey it wouldn't be computing without problems :) .

The colloquy chat client seems to lock up quite regularly at the moment, I have the console window up but there is nothing in it, eventually I have to force quit the application, any ideas?

And yes, the mac will soon be running 10.5 :) As soon as my 8GB USB stick arrives :) ...well that is the plan anyway.

So I have been running my mac for a while now, it seems to be running at 56.0 degrees Celsius, is this normal?

Does the powermac G4 have fast fan? Because it is a convection system so I reckon it uses a steady flow of air.

I put some photos up here:

Even the packaging resembles that of the iPhone.

I would say 99%, but a high percentage, a group of people could be crushed into the size of a sugar cube, the neutrons and the protons are the only real substance, electrons have practically no mass and are also rather small, all they do is orbit the nucleas, according to some scientists, so if this atom could be compressed and all the atoms were compressed then yes, we may be 99% free space.

Technically there are MIPS4 capable Indys (R5K option) but yes, the R4K versions are still interesting ;)

Indeed. 8-)

Thx for clearing that up.

Btw, if we're on the topic, what would (roughly, of course) be the equivalent to Tzro in term of intel/amd hardware?

A Mac Pro maybe?

A G4 maybe :D .

I know this is not my thread, I apologise for just using it for the purpose of my question.

You wouldn't happen to know what a decent price for a G5 is?

I sold my 2.0 DC with 6GB of ram for $500 last july. I wouldn't spend more then that. :)

Ah, I guess I shall wait a bit then.

I have recently put windows 7 ultimate on my netbook, after a 2gb RAM upgrade.
Now the HDD activity light is constantly on, I've turned off the useless services, yet it's still on.
Any ideas?

I am still using the 2009 Intel Core 2 Duo 2.66 GHz, with a 7200rpm 320gb with 8gb DDR 2.
It is still very much up to the task. I shouldn't think you would need quite as much RAM, but I use dual displays and then a windoze virtual machine.
