Firefox 3.0.15 Gran Paradiso first run - Page 1

I keep receiving unresolved symbols when configuring apache sources against an installation of berkeley db that I've already installed. I am fairly certain that my compilation of berkeley db was somehow flawed.

Configure.log yields unresolved symbols "pthread_condattr_init" amongst others. This comes after warnings that /usr/lib32/libpthread.so is not used for resolving any symbols.

Anyone seen this before? I am using gcc 3.3.3.
I recently tried to build Berkely DB using MIPSpro for Subversion, everything goes fine until I run the subversion admin tools and it complains that Berkely DB isn't working correctly... I eventually gave up on it and downloaded the freeware version ;)
So far, I've been able to compile subversion, but not install it. My configure options are:

configurion --without-berkeley-db -disable-nls

Even though the build works, 'gmake install' fails. I posted a thread on USENET comp.sys.sgi.apps:

http://groups.google.com/group/comp.sys.sgi.apps/msg/09c6df1e1311e775?hl=en&

Any ideas?
Hello,

I made a little tool to create thumbnails of JPEG-Pictures (mainly for my own use).
The tool called "Thumbo" creates thumbnails of all pictures in a folder and creates
also a file "index.html", so you can browse the folder with an internet-browser.

http://www.sgi.faktor0.de/thumbo

Change requests are welcome.

Best regards, Martin

Check the Mozilla tag, it "proves" that it's running on my Quad R10K@225MHz Origin200.

I'm so bloody relieved, after more than half a year of pulling this project out of the mud in my spare time! 8)
More to come friday, i will post the patch file (+- 89 Hunks!) and the list of deps.

Stay tuned!

Dex

Are you doing forwarding to run it? I am a little confused looking at the ubuntu ui...

Anyways, that is definitely a project worth being proud of. I wonder if it got the speed increase too making it usable for old Octanes and such.

Wow, nice work! I'm curious to see how it performs as well :)

BTW, you can get rid of the "Gran Paradiso" moniker by adding 'ac_add_options --enable-official-branding' to .mozconfig.
