I also tried getting this to work. It didn't. I tried to build partiview manually but no go. I was too tired last night to keep working on it. It looks like a really nice app. It coredumps on me though :(

I got Homebank to compile on my Octane2. It's a simple account manager, nothing like gnucash, but I used to use Homebank on my Amiga. My problem is, it compiles fine, but complains about the SVG files that are used within Homebank. I installed librsvg from nekoware, still doesn't work, so I tried opening it with GIMP, won't load it either.

Anyone have any ideas?
I'm trying to compile MLDonkey and I get this error:

squirrel 77# gmake
/usr/nekoware/bin/ocamlc.opt -linkall -o ocamlpp.byte -custom unix.cma str.cma -ccopt " " -cclib "-lz " -cclib "-lpthread" -I build tools/ocamlpp.cmo
sh: c99: not found
Error while building custom runtime system

I'm trying to get the VGA font so BitchX will look correct. Does anyone have it, or know where to get it?
Worked like a charm! I googled all over the place looking for fonts. Thanks again.. now if I only had decent Flash support my octane would rock.. thanks to this site this machine is my daily driver!
Still can't get this compiled. I to have MIPS Pro installed. I get an error just like above abouit CSTDIO. Any help?

V6 Pro Graphics (32MB)
External Sun CDROM 32x
1.25GB of RAM
Blue LED Lightbar

Asking $200 OBO. Will deliver within 25 miles of Los Angeles. Skin is in great shape and door is intact. Have a few demo CD's I can toss in also...
Hey guys! I brought my SGI to work so I wont have to pay for the electric bill ;-) but it won't display any video now. Do you think all 3 monitors are unable to sync? One of them displays the login screen for a sec then goes to standby mode. I tried going in through the console and resetting it, but I can't even get into the diagnostics screen when you first turn the machine on. Any ideas? At home I have a 19" Sony Trinitron...
I got in through the serial port and setmon'd a 1024x768 @ 75HZ. Doesnt do anything. Even when the machine first turns on, the screen is black. I'm guessing somehow the 13W3 Adaptor went bad... I can buy another one when I get paid next. It's either that or the V6 Pro board is going out.. *sigh*

The monitors at work are: ViewSonic, Mitsubishi and NEC.. none work...
Hey guys I got a freebie 18GB Cheetah, I put it in the tray, pushed it in, but disk manager isn't recognizing it.. how do I get it to see the third drive? Any infos is appreciated!
Hey guys..

I'm trying to run QuakeI on my Octane2. It's got V6PRO Graphics and 1.2GBRAM. When I run the quake executable, it defaults to the none GL versions. Is that how it's supposed to be? When I run the GL version, it gets laggy and then crashes my system. Any tips out there for Quake to run right? I'm using the port from SGI.
I have an HP 9000 735. I tried to install NeXTSTEP 3.3 on it, got it to install on an external drive. I get the NeXTSTEP boot screen, checking disks, blah blah.. then a kernel problem something about the jupiter audio onboard. then it stops and reboots the machine. I tried reinstalling, same problem. Is my cpu board bad??
I have 144MB of RAM, Firmware is 2.6, 99MHZ CPU and CRX24 graphics.
Yep, it's a 735. Soooo close!
