Hmm, this reminds me that quite some time ago I compiled and utilized a piece of software called "Hyperbole". However, as I didn't like it at all, I surely removed it from my box almost immediately... ;)

dude, you are ruining my thread!
Did I? Why? Anyway, no regrets here :D :D :D

Cyclone was a Colorbus trademark though, it just utilized SGI hardware.

Nah - too much custom work. Crimson2 would be an off-the-shelf case from someone.

I'll spare the junk peecee case and red spray paint but you get the idea.

A triple-tower could look pretty cool, if done right.

I know exactly the thing ... one of those weirdass gaming boxes that looks like a toilet with fart vents. Alien ? Predator ? Some testosterone-fueled pubescent name like that. Red, too.

Or would that be too creative for Rackable ?

Hmm so it resembles and over-sized O2 with fart vents ... could pass as a modernized toilet on wheels lol... Rackable does indeed lack creativity

They might have some creativity but just not the budget to do anything with it. Off the shelf stuff that's made in quantity is noticeably cheaper than a custom job.

I remember seeing a commentary on Apple advertising to the effect that they had mastered the art of telling people to demonstrate their individuality by purchasing a mass-produced object.
