3D printing: sorry, I had to...

Sorry if this has been done before... Not sure, haven't been on nekochan in a while.

But ever since buying the Replicator I've wanted to do this... and perhaps even before that. :D

In an earlier post I managed to print a very, very small one of these, but this is the first one I've been able to print at a reasonable size... had to add supports, and clean up the mesh.

The best part? This is not s remake-- this is a physical build of the cleaned up, converted geometry I extracted from one of the iris demos :)

I'm staring at a brand new UltiMaker2, boss put it there for the employees to toy with :twisted: :mrgreen:
Now this is a deep dark secret, so everybody keep it quiet :)
It turns out that when reset, the WD33C93 defaults to a SCSI ID of 0, and it was simpler to leave it that way... -- Dave Olson, in comp.sys.sgi
