neko_kegs-0.91 (Apple IIgs virtual machine) uploaded - Page 1
Thanks for porting this. Although I do have a "physical" Apple IIgs in my collection, it's still nice to have an emulator up and running (very convenient actually)

Supposedly this program can do it:

Haven't tried it myself, just something I came across in my travels.

Glad it works! It had been awhile since I put together a tardist.....

Wow. I'm gonna have to give this a try. What a blast it would be to retrieve and run some of my old AppleSoft programs.
I found neko_strace in /incoming the other day - who uploaded this package? There were two tardists:
neko_strace-4.5.17.tardist
neko_strace-4.5.17.tardist-norqs
I moved the .tardist file over to /beta, but left the -norqs in /incoming as there's no explanation of what it is.
Anyone?

maybe strace compiled with --static???
If that's the case, it should be folded into a single tardist as an optional install ...

The package comes from "Rainer M. Canavan <[email protected]>". There are no deps listet in the package. Packaing looks good from the outside.

Actually, they were from me. Please dispose of both, there's still a lot to fix with strace 4.x. On the other hand, you could stick the sane, xsane and scummvm packages into beta/.
Done
Shoot me a note when you upload something so I can move it over ASAP - I usually only look in there once a week or so. Or if you prefer, send me a PM and I'll set you up with the login/pass for the Nekoware account so you can upload them straight into /beta.

Hello, I want to ask : is there command/ application witch shows dependencies in installed packages? Thanks.

There is no native one.
1. On http://www.nekoware.net/wiki/ <Programname> you may find a list of dependancies when the author of the package make his job.
2. Same info can be found on the most mirror server and the original download source. Take a look to http://www.nekochan.net/nekoware/index.php?path=current/
3. If you have installed the *.opt.dist image of a package you can grep the deps from the neko_<packagename>.spec file which can be found under /usr/nekoware/dist/.
4. For developers there is a small php script named nekoprereq which tracks deps from files or directorys. But these infos based on your current installation.
5. The user "docelic" have programmed a webapp on http://irix.spinlocksolutions.com/irix/nekodeps?selector=1&id=qjwx7yZ5&mv_pc=28 which calculated all deps when selecting one or more packages for installation. Looks like there is also a standalone app available for download.
Remember that except 4. all information about the deps are calculated on the list which comes from the *.spec file.

Joerg
Sane/ xsane works fine big THANKS, but can be xsane packed somehow that the dependency on neko_gimp will be only optional? E.g if dependency is caused by some plugin or something similiar...
