I have same exact AP for my home LAN ... looking forward to upgrade to a Cisco AP 1200 but this D-link does the job pretty well.. I'm happy with it.. I dont use it with any SGI box tought.. just my laptop when I'm in my living room and friends laptops when i'm too lazy to hook 'em a cable to the switch.

cheers

p.s. the webbase config is ok .. since its webbased... I configure it now from my Linux Laptop with no problem.

ehehe that's nice...

my first laptop was a T1000 Toshiba.. which i've couple down in the garage... pretty sure dead since they just had FDD but i've lost the PSU.

i'll bring them to life when I'll bring myself to a better life... which I'm waiting for since long months now... should say couple of years, sadly.

cheers.

Because Fedora sucks ass -- it's a bleeding edge beta. It uses X.org, whose Xnest binary is totally, completely broken. (Many things are broken in X.org;

Su to root, then run "X -query sgihostname", using the regular X binary to start the server on a different vty.

hey thanks for your infos... sadly.. when i switch to the :1 X server (is it?).. i still get the black screen and the white cross cursor.... i wonder if now the problem is on the SGI side.....

any idea?

on the O2 ... giving the command $host +hellboy (my laptop) just stay there... doing nothing and not giving me the prompt with successflly added host...
