Haiku Alpha 1 released

Haiku, an open-source clone of BeOS, released Alpha 1 of their system yesterday after eight years of development. I've been developing with it for a while; its a cool system, but painfully incomplete in some areas.

iBook G4 1GHz "Kursk" (PPC)
Terian Tiger 4 "Vyasma" (Itanium)
Boring Homebuilt "Voronezh" (Athlon X2)
RS6000 7044-170 333MHz/1GB
Man that's a nice looking partitioner lol, other OSes could take a hint.

I have been playing with it for sometimes now and have to say that it makes me realize how BeOS has ahead in many areas.

Haiku is really nice and stable for Alpha! Microsoft and others should take note ;)

Hope this time people will take on this great OS!
