It explodes into a pile of PC parts if you break it with a crobar. :roll:

When I saw those in BMS my eyes lit up, it's a shame they didn't have any other SGI stuff (besides the mug) though.

Image suomi 250 MHz R10K, SE, 512 MB, 36 GB
Image eire 100 MHz R4K, XZ, 144 MB, 540 MB + 4.55 GB ext, IRIX 5.3
Image eesti 200 MHz R4400, XL24, 64 MB, 2GB
Saw an episode of NCIS maybe four or five days ago (don't recall which one).

There was an SGI MLA sitting on the desk of one of the two younger actors. Don't know their names as I'm not a regular viewer.

It was not connected to anything at all, no 1600SW in sight. Camera caught this for maybe 1/2 a second.

It was sitting on the desk like a paperweight.

:Cube: 68040@33MHz, 128MB RAM, NeXTdimension 32MB, 2x 4.3GB HDD

...And lots of other UNIX-like systems for which there is no icon.
SGI was a sponsor of the show for some period. However, you mostly just see the logo on monitors and panels; there isn't much actual use of them, even from McGee.
smit happens.

Another one I didn't see mentioned yet: There's a (somewhat forgettable) PC computer game, «SWAT 4» or a subsequent expansion for it (as far as I remember), where there's an ‘data center’ environment with ‘Origin3x0’-appearing systems in the racks. I can see if I can make a screenshot or two.

• Offering various remaining systems and parts, several interestingly compatible with both IRIX and OpenVMS ( AXP and I64 );
• Looking for an SGI O3000 IP59 1-GHz MIPS R16000 quad-processor node board (for a Tezro).
Here's one :)

They supplied systems for a late 90's CGI Canadian show called Monster by Mistake.
Won't lie. It was a pretty awful show.
