I got this RS/6000 from the recycle center on a whim, but it turns out that it can only run AIX, which isn't my area of interest. So I might as well send it to a good home, rather than have it sit around taking up space...
The unit. It's slightly dirty, but otherwise in excellent shape. That's a DDS3 drive on the bottom.
Booting...

The configuration information. 233MHz, one 64MB DIMM, 9.1GB hard disk. There's no expansion cards installed, so no video.
It has AIX 4.3 installed at the moment. I don't have any login information for it, or AIX install media. I won't format it, in order to leave the diagnostic software in place and allow a possible use of a rescue disk to reset the root password, but I do expect that the taker will remove the original owner's data in an ethical fashion.
Also available/included is another model 140, also 233MHz, with 512MB of RAM (as four 128MB DIMMs.) This is in similarly good shape, but is slightly a parts machine, as it doesn't have a CD-ROM drive or hard disks, and also there's a note scrawled on the inside of the case to the effect that memory slot F is bad. However, it does overall work perfectly well, so add in some disk drives and you're in business. This one has an Ethernet card (in addition to the built-in Ethernet) and a controller for some kind of ring-topology mass-storage network (can't remember the name.)
I'm interested in trading one or both for any of the following (in order of desireability):

- Macintosh Quadra 840AV. Doesn't have to be fully working, as I have a board and RAM for one, but I do need a case, PSU, and some drives at the least!
- Any intriguing PDP/VAX/Alpha hardware you may happen to have...
- A PowerPC system that runs NT or OS/2.
