Indigo2 wont power on

Hi,

After been powered off for some time I tried to powerup my Indigo2 but nothing happends, what could be the likely reason for that?

Does the NVRAM has anything to do with Poweron?

If nothing happens (no LEDs, fans etc), it's almost certainly the power supply.

This is not uncommon for Indigo2's, there's a guide out there how to recap the PSU. My success rate doing this is ~ 50%
Now this is a deep dark secret, so everybody keep it quiet :)
It turns out that when reset, the WD33C93 defaults to a SCSI ID of 0, and it was simpler to leave it that way... -- Dave Olson, in comp.sys.sgi

I had to do this to my Indigo2 a couple of years ago and it came right back up. It's been running great ever since. :)
