What would you do with it/install on it? Or is it ready for disposal? HP-UX is not an option because of the incompatible graphics card.
HP/DEC/Compaq
I have a (fully functional) hp zx6000 ia64 workstation

OpenVMS, but that, too, might not like your graphics card.
Other than that, Windows Server or Linux are the only other big contenders.
OpenVMS. Linux is Linux on that hardware (but Linux without as much precompiled software).

Don't dispose it
I'm sure you'll find a geek nearby that will enjoy it.

Ok, pontus. I am in Austria... Seems like you would like to have it.
If pontus doesn't want it, I'll pay shipping to UK happily.

But you want the machine for Free, am I right?
I don't think I'll be able to add much to the shipping fee - but feel free to put a price together you'd be happy with (incl shipping) and we can take it from there

You can always use serial console and network display if you want to have the HP-UX experience.

You must have very strange graphics in that if UX doesn't take em. Non HP parts, I guess?
I have a dual boot OpenVMS/HP-UX on my zx6000. I put in a PCI radeon 7000 because the standard card - an Ati FireGL something - was very unsupported in VMS. The 7000 works fine for both.

Hp also provided the zx6000 with NVIDIA graphics. All Parts are from hp. See the specs at hp.com.
Ah, true - I forgot about the RedHat 2.1 bundle. Right, you can forget about getting that to work in nonlinux then...

The gfx card is in the Maya H.w compatibility list...?

Gentoo works well on IA64. In case you aren't familiar, Gentoo compiles all the packages on your machine, so you get binaries built just for your hardware. I love it on my DEC Alpha's.

Now, a more handsome suggestion - running an Integrity VM with some of mentioned luxury IA64 stuff inside:
