the top500 is to be enjoyed with caution tho since they only go for quantity. i remember them listing a powermac g5 and even a playstation cluster once and i guess nobody would classify those as "supercomputer" by far.
at one point they had a separate cluster section which was a very good idea imho but for whatever reason that didn't last long.

anyway that current fujitsu machine would qualify for sure :)

yep - one look at all that plumbing and you know it's a real supercomputer...

I took another visit to the Computer History museum at mountain view again last month, had a couple of hours to kill before my flight out of SFO => well worth a visit if you are ever in the area...
