Icons for Irix

Hello,

I created some icons for my favourite applications.
Some icons for irix that I haven't published anywhere yet.

Thank you!
Someone probably has already answered this question but how do you change the icons?

Copy eg. the firefox.fti file into /usr/lib/filetype/local/iconlib directory
In terminal got to /usr/lib/filetype
run make -u
Logout / Login

If your application don't have an icon, you need to create an ftr file.

Many thanks! I'm using XV and ssh (probably as most users here) so icons are welcome! :)
I'v just add ftr file to blowfish so everyone can use it without problems. BTW very nice work with the fish.
xv icon did not work with drag and drop - so I'v fixed it.

And to "warm my own soup" I'v add my own created icon for neko_links. Icon file was posted on this forum somwhere else but this is stretched and have also corresponding ftr file.

Based on the original pidgin icon Image
nice job on the pidgin icon...
Any tips on how you draw these icons? (your thunderbird icon is really smooth and detail)

I was trying to follow this tip from the Iconsmith Userguide http://techpubs.sgi.com/library/tpl/cgi-bin/getdoc.cgi/0650/bks/SGI_Developer/books/IIDsktp_IG/sgi_html/ch12.html

"Tip: Draw your icon design on a clear transparency, and tape the transparency to the top of the monitor housing. Using the drawing as a guide, trace it using IconSmith."

I was print a thunderbird svg logo on a transparency film with a laser printer.
I've used a transparent .XPM and sxpm (it's in freeware fw_libxpm), but not in nekoware to draw the blowfish icon. Since that covers exactly those places where you want to click, either create your parts elsewhere and drag them to the final destination, or keep using Alt-F1/Alt-F3.
btw, canavan - nice icon on the xanalyser. Just noticed it, since I was starting it fom a command. You do good work :)
I like pidgin icon and the firefox logo overall. However I think it's not very nice and clean when you put on the desktop when a dense and detail icons
I attempt to adjust pidgin icon a little bit. Hope u guy like it

Refined folder icons that I created. Extract the 2 files fti and copy those 2 into /usr/lib/filetype/iconlib/ then just do "make" like usual

Another batch. Copy all of these into /usr/lib/filetype/system/iconlib/ and do "make"
