Hi,
Born in '77, I'm now working in the aerospace industry since the last 4 years as a lead software architect for cockpit display systems.
I first discovered SGI in 2001 during my internship at Kasenna (Mountain View, CA) which was a subsidiary of SGI.
I used to be a unix addict since 1995 with slackware and redhat linux and rapidly switch to FreeBSD 2.1 in 1996 (while one of my neighboor made me discover NetBSD and OpenBSD). I stayed faithfull with FreeBSD until 2002. I then switch to NetBSD. I'm now under XP with my both laptops (home and work) and as a deeply unix addicted I need to freshen my head with a real unix desktop.
That's why I'm planning to buy a Fuel or a Dual Octane 2. Pleasure only.
Cheers,
Pierre-Jean.
