I've got an issue I've run into trying to dump an HFS disk image to a SCSI drive using my Fuel. The device is recognized properly, but IRIX sees the one unit as about a dozen. Disk manager shows they are all the exact same size and the drive only contained one partition when pulled from the previous machine. That said, it seems like I can still write to the device using dd although the HFS partition it makes doesn't seem to be bootable like I'd hoped. Is there some sort of setting I'm missing or do you think I have a borked drive? Any light that can be shed on the situation would be highly appreciated.

Sorry for the delay, I've been out a couple days. There's lots of good advice though. It's been a while since I've had to deal with SCSI termination weirdness so it's likely I've overlooked something really simple and the settings on the drive appear to be wrong. I've since managed to track down the documentation for the drive in question (an IBM model DORS-32160) and I'm fiddling with the jumpers to see if I can get it up and going properly. Thank you! :)
