The collected works of LongJohn

Yes, Samurai Champloo is awesome. But lets be fair, nowt really compares to the genius that is bebop :-)

Also worth checking out:

Samurai 7
Monster (if you're in for a long haul!)
Wolfs Rain
Tenchi Muyo
Nadesico
Guyver
Black Blood Brothers

And those are just the ones I can think of off the top of my head..

...and add me to the list! I'm hoping to get one in UK, if anyone is looking to sell up. Don't even mind shipping costs so long as it's sent on a pallet.. :-)

Hi all,

I've got two (slightly modified) Sun Ultra 40 M2's at home, which I am looking to get moved on soon.

Apologies for the crappy low-quality crop-shot. I'll post more when I can!

Both are currently installed with the latest VMWare ESXi 6, but happily run Linux/Windows. They both originally came with 4x 146GB SAS drives but I replaced them with a single SSD in both machines. Both make quite hardy VM hosts :-) I can put the original SAS drives back in the machines if required.

The specs are:

2x AMD Opteron 2222 (dual core @3GHz)
Dual Gigabit Ethernet
LSI SAS RAID controller
32GB ECC RAM
120GB SATA3 SSD
Asaka green light mod

Looking at £200 per machine here, not including shipping which I anticipate being approx £25 per machine to other UK locations as they are quite heavy.

I will consider local pickup too, I'm based about 10 mins from Kingston town centre.
