The collected works of Alien

My 320's and 540 run Win2K Pro and Server, respectively. I'd consider upgrading to XP if they supported it, but having seen Vista, that is where it would stop. Vista is an abomination. I don't expect "7" to be any better.

I'm pretty sure it won't run without the side door or possibly just the plastic sheet that is supposed to sit inside the door. Running it open would disrupt proper airflow and cooling.

As indicated before, most people owning Crimsons nowadays are unlikely to let go of them easily. Especially people frequenting these forums. If a forum member were to get rid of a Crimson, I'm quite sure they'd announce it, here. I can understand your wanting one, but the incessant "anyone willing to sell one, yet?" is getting old.

(Yes, I own two Crimsons. No, I'm not parting with either of them.)

Keep an eye on Craigslist, eBay, vcm. Let scrappers and hardware dealers near you know you're on the lookout. That's pretty much the best you can do.

Not quite - Palm Treos had touch screens several years before iPhones came out, though obviously the iPhone implementation was more sophisticated.
And the Ericsson R380 years before that, in 2000. And if you don't mind being tethered to a landline, we can go back to 1993 for the Siemens NotePhone, which ran Apple's (but not Jobs'!) Newton OS.

My first programming language was BASIC. Then Pascal, Z80 assembly and C. Objective-C is next.

And they all make big bucks.

For undecipherable, try Brainfuck.
