Time to decide whether you want super speed or a cool vintage silicongraphics workstation... And if you will be running it for significant amounts of time (40hours a week etc) I would lean strongly to the former. I've had to pay ontario hydro bills with sgi's before, it was not a pleasant surprise :shock:


Oh hell just get an onyx (1/2/3/4) IR and be happy :twisted: :mrgreen:

there's also the "comfort" aspect. any IR module comes with a giant fan and is loud as hell. not to mention the serious power needs.
V12 on the other hand is a quite compact solution with nice performance however if you wanna go for something big like the rm4 then you have no choice anyway.
