Hi I am trying to install some nekoware for the first time on my Sgi O2 which I just updated to IRIX 6.5.22. I tried installing the DiePleneten and Reallyslick screensaver and am running into errors while trying to run the programs (RSS I doubt will run on my O2 R5k but I was willing to try). . I ftp transferred the files from my server to the O2, untarred the files and used swmanager to install them, which as far as I can tell worked (no conflicts anyway). IRIX is still new to me, I usually use ubuntu, lubuntu or any windows version so I'm sure its something I'm doing wrong, but if anyone can provide any advice it would be appreciated.

That's not a lot to work with. Could you give us a specific example of the error(s)?

I am oddly put in mind of:
Dobbs: [Over the radio] Help him! Help him!
Yossarian: Help who?
Dobbs: Help the bombardier!
Yossarian: I'm the bombardier, I'm all right.
Dobbs: Then help HIM, help HIM!
Anyone name the movie? Anyone? Anyone?
Oh, and to the OP: Yes with a little more infodata and we can (probably) help you...

I read the book....
One of the best books I've ever read, an exceptional mix of gritty reality and otherworldly surrealism. Kind of like skyrockets in RSS, yes? There, I almost got back on topic...
