Downloaded the file and open in illustrator. The layers exist. US government actually post an editable birth cert on the official site.

Reminds me of the UK government release of documents complete with edit history that flatly contradicted ministers denials of involvement.

I'm just going to just stand here and laugh because people would rather spend so much time trying to prove someone was not from their country.
I guess if for the last ten years we had to deal witht he 9/11 garbage like Loose Change, the next ten years will be people insisting that he's not an american, simply under the sleazy guise that he's black and it's all a conspiracy.

It's a byproduct of crappy OCR software trying to pull the text off the background layer and doing a poor job.

Alex Jones has to be one of the biggest nutjobs around these days - as soon as he sees an explanation that might sound viable, he trumpets it as a massive conspiracy with no acknowledgement to other possibilities (9/11 WAS A BOMBING etc).
