Regrettably, I need to move along my Onyx2 Deskside which I just don't have time to utilize. Taking offers. NO SCRAPPERS! This thing needs to be preserved so I'm focused on finding it a home.

Be sure to stick up some pictures and a hinv in the Hinv section :) I know it'll look the same as any other Onxy2 but.. I love to see em as it's a system I yearn to own some day!

Looking at you .sig I'd almost think you like the Onyx2 :lol:

You'd be right though, IMHO they combine the best of many aspect: the 'big iron' graphics in the deskside form factor, extensibility etc. And of course it doesn't get any better than the 500MHz R14K CPUs. :mrgreen:

So have fun!
Now this is a deep dark secret, so everybody keep it quiet :)
It turns out that when reset, the WD33C93 defaults to a SCSI ID of 0, and it was simpler to leave it that way... -- Dave Olson, in comp.sys.sgi
