Hardware For Sale/Trade

FS/T: 600MHz Fuel, V10, 3GB, 36 and 300GB HDs, DDS4

For Sale (or possibly trade): 600Mhz Fuel 1GB, V10 graphics, 3GB of memory (two 1GB and two 512MB DIMMs), has both a 36GB and 300GB hard drive, an internal DVD-ROM drive, EMU audio, and an internal DDS4 tape drive. If desired, I also have an SGI F180 18" LCD monitor that could be purchased separately (though you should be able use just about any standard monitor with a DVI port - because of its DVI graphics port, the Fuel does not require a sync-on-green monitor).

I'm located in central North Carolina USA.

This one has a later revision motherboard (that isn't prone to the faulty environmental monitoring chip), and a late revision 460 watt power supply (not know to be as failure prone as the earlier revision 430w NMB units).

The Fuel includes a clean install of a hardware appropriate operating system (PM me for details). If desired I can do initial configuration for the buyer (networking, user account, etc.)

The skins look pretty good, but they aren't perfect - it's the one on the left in the attached photo:

I'm asking $350 for the Fuel (plus shipping), or I'd consider some sort of trade for a free-standing home NAS/network storage system or an Intel based Mac, preferably one with an mini-display port.

If you're on a tight budget I'll also accept offers for the Fuel without some of the add-ons.

I tried to PM but it looks like message is stuck in "outbox".. Is the Fuel still available?

I am interested in it.

That's a phpbb "feature," PM's stay in your outbox until the recipient reads them. That way you can edit them or even delete them ("Unsend! Unsend!") should you so choose...
Very cool feature!!! Thank you very much for the tip.
