Sync on Green problems

Hi,

I just bought a new monitor. It is a AOC i2476Vw. Sadly the image is very very green tinted. After short googleing, I found out that this is because of Sync on Green. Is there any form of converter available to convert the Sync on Green signal to separated Sync as it is found on PCs?

Thanks in advnace!

Do you need a splitter or a filter? I can't find the device anymore, but my Indy has an active (powered) Sync on Green filter for this purpose.
smit happens.

The only independent devices I've seen to do this are priced ridiculously; I'd just find a monitor that natively supports it. The two I use are the Samsung Syncmaster 173p, which doesn't actually support signals without separate sync but will filter the sync signal out of the green signal (which is enough to work with my O2, I'm not sure about other SGIs,) and the NEC Multisync 2010X, which has full sync-on-green support.

Sorry that I took so long for an answer. ClassicHasClass, thanks for the hint, maybe I find such a device. At the moment I will just continue using my 19" lcd monitor, which works just fine with it. Thanks for your answers.

I can also confirm that a lot of Dell TFTs support Sync On Green correctly, as does my big 27" Viewsonic screen. Currently I use a Dell 2007FP 20" TFT screen that I acquired as a spare from work for my SGIs. Works a treat, even with a 13W3 to VGA adaptor.
