Would anyone who linked the G4 Cube , MacPro , G5 PowerMac or NextStation Turbo w/Duckfoot Monitor icons in their Profile signature please remove those links. Those off-site icon images are missing and/or won't open.

The signature icons in question were originally provided by ZoonF in this forum post.

Noticed this earlier, started to remove them, forgot, now complete. Were the dead links doing anything heinous to the board?

Not to the board per se, but for some it causes page stalls/slowdowns as the images time out.

Probably more of an issue on the user end - your browser sits there trying to load the non-existent icon images until it times out. And unfortunately that's true for *everyone* who tries to load a page that includes a post by someone with one of the dead signature icons - none of the IRIX browsers need any slow-down enhancers.
