No extra cooling - the Ross 200MHz CPU modules are single-width (model HMx4D-512), and the RasterFlex framebuffer is single as well, so there's quite a bit of empty space in the chassis. I didn't see any temperature advisories for that config in the MBus guide, and I've run the system for several days without problems, so hopefully no further MBus cooling is required (I did recently purchase an extra 1" fan for the HDD bay, though).

At any rate, the machine has been safely packaged in a temperature-controlled storage unit for the past three years, so it's a comfortable 72 degrees all year round. Can't wait to unpack it and shoot a video about it.

Who doesn't love pizza? Suns got deployed in many places and roles, so many people have a lot of memories associated with their desktop/deskside gear. (I won't say all those memories are fond... )

I picked up an SS10 for NextStep from leaknoil a while back. Have another SS10 in storage with an SM52X - spent a lot of time trying to find a compatible SM52X for a max config of the SS10 platform, but never got the right part. Have an SS20 with something like SM71s in, but I have a pair of SM91's that I ran in there a few times. Needs more work, didn't get it stable enough to benchmark them.

Nice to see a classic restored and serving a purpose. Kind of reminds me of the old MACs I'm restoring for some serious retro gaming lol
