Hi all,

I'm quite new to SGI IRIX.

I installed a Digital Video Option Card in my SGI Octane...

How can I see, that card is recognized by system?

it's working, installing software to get VideoDeamon running was quite a pain, but it seems to run ;-)

Glad you found the thread helpful. I see your Octane still uses the default 'IRIS' host name. If personalizing the Octane is on your to-do list, you might find the following wiki article another source of useful info: http://www.nekochan.net/wiki/ ... tomization
