put graphics magick in beta. I would recommend that anyone doing graphics manipulations give it a shot. It's slightly different than image magick but faster, especially if you have more than one processor. It's a great program and the guys involved really try hard to be truly cross-platform and stable and all them other good things. They even listen to grumpy people having difficulties compiling their code and tell the grump how to do it right.
If you've never used it, just type < gm display > in a terminal. A frog will hop up. Click on the frog and you'll get a menu. It's also capable from a command line but just to get the feet wet, try the gui ... nice program. This is probably canavan's work, eh ? thanks
