Onyx 3000, 12x600MHz, 6GB, dual-pipe IR3 with HD-GVO

Onyx 3000 system, 12x600MHz, 6GB RAM, dual pipe IR3 graphics with 2 channels and 2xRM10's per pipe, an HD-GVO(TVO) board and VBOB with TMDS.
It's taken over a month to learn how this machine works and to get her working:

You might want to distribute the memory evenly over the nodes, though.
Now this is a deep dark secret, so everybody keep it quiet :)
It turns out that when reset, the WD33C93 defaults to a SCSI ID of 0, and it was simpler to leave it that way... -- Dave Olson, in comp.sys.sgi

Agreed, though, you should try to distribute the memory as evenly as possible so that some CPUs aren't starved for RAM. Even memory distribution works best for most workloads.
