I've had MIPS routers before (Broadcom based), but lately I've been using a high power router (ALFA AIP-W610H) for which there seems to be little info.
It runs busybox, so the easy way to find out about the hardware is to cat stuff on /proc ...
Some relevant info found (I would have copied and pasted, but since I'm now using a Kensington Expert Mouse with only 4 buttons, I can no longer copy and paste from an IRIX term....I was previously using the 11 button wireless Expert Mouse PRO -using the scrollwheel button I could copy and paste. Does anyone know how to remap the middle button cd /so I can use the copy and paste function with this 4 button mouse?):
So it seems this 400mW router runs on a R3000!
No info on MHz, but I'd say it's probably a 75MHz R3000 based on the BogoMIPS info....
It's loaded with interesting features. I haven't opened it up yet....will post pics on the innards when I dissect it.
