Hardware For Sale/Trade

Hey All,
These aren't available *yet* but should be soon

So the parents are clearing out the house ready to move in 2016 and I need to get my SGI gear down to Melbourne and sold or picked up (not much space here)

I'm not 100% sure on specs of the machines but I have 1 O2 and 1 Octane
I've also got a Sun branded screen to go with the octane along with all the cables you need to run said Octane
The O2 as i'm sure most of you would know will run on an LCD that supports SOG

I believe they should both be in working order, not powered on for probably 5 or 6 years...

I've also got an external scsi cdrom drive for the octane, as well as (I believe) a keyboard and mouse set for each machine

Please note that I don't want to ship them as the skins are pretty well unmarked on both units and it would cost more than what I could sell them for

Please also note these aren't yet available, but i'm just putting out some feelers to see if anyone would like them, would be a shame to just get rid of them

**Just noticed the 2 machines are in my sig from a long time ago - those specs should be correct but can confirm when i've got them here with me

I've now got the gear in my hands, but sans keyboard and mice (I did have them and have asked the parents to see if they are still at the house for me)

currently have an O2 available (pending testing that it still runs) per the specs in my sig, skins are good on it just 1 small scuff but no plastic damage at all on it

have a few other odds and ends sgi related as well floating around but need to check exactly what I have, also some other older scsi gear which someone might find useful

obvously not wanting to ship this stuff as we know what couriers are like and how fragile this gear can be

i'll need to confirm the exact specs with hinv but everything still available should be per my sig

FYI - have had a couple of questions about location, myself and all the gear available is in the west suburbs of Melbourne

Ok some news on the O2
apart from the specs in my sig I can confirm the following:

Irix version is 6.5.22 maint release
have run the IDE test after reseating the RAM as 1 dimm was not happy (all are fine now)
can confirm keyboard, mouse, cdrom, internal sound and power up test are all ok - i've not confirmed network function but the IDE test all passed so I can assume the built in card should be fine, just don't have the time to set it all up and test

condition wise there is 1 scratch on the front panel and a couple of light scuffs, but no skin damage eg cracks, chips etc

machine is located in the west suburbs of Melbourne, keyboard and mouse aren't included just the O2 itself (I also have a couple of manuals for it which will be included also, as well as power and a normal VGA cable)

Kau has picked up the Octane, but i've still got the O2 up for grabs if anyone is interested in it, specs as per my sig, it would also come with items that I can't specify as well

Also have a Sun branded CRT if anyone is looking for a screen, has 13w3 connector and an adaptor to connect it to a standard VGA output on a pc or other system, yet to confirm it's working but will test if anyone is interested in it
