I'm looking to upgrade the video capabilities of my new Onyx2 rack, and I'm wondering...

What are the differences between the XT-HD vs. DG5/TVO?

Beyond the VBOB, what is the implication of using one over the other, or is it simply a case of one is designed for Discreet products, the other general purpose HD I/O? Would you use a VBOB with the XT-HD too? Do they both have the same performance?

Just wondering...

Oh, I see... the XT-HD is primarily an HD input device, TVO is output.
